Mighty Boosh stars Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt are to host a radio series about Monty Python’s comedy albums.

The pair interviewed Michael Palin, Terry Jones, Eric Idle and Terry Gilliam for the two-part Radio 2 show Monty Python's Wonderful World Of Sound.

The programme will argue that in an age before video recorders, it was the albums helped make classics of sketches such as Dead Parrot, Nudge Nudge and the Lumberjack Song.

In the interviews, the Python team talk about making the world's first ‘three-sided’ LP; upsetting John Denver; and raising the bar for what comedy albums could achieve.

The first show goes out at 10.30pm on December 8.

Michael Jackson is annoyed he was not buried alongside Marilyn Monroe, according to a medium.

Derek Acorah claims he was contacted by the star during a televised seance and reduced fans to tears with his account of the singer adapting to spiritual life.

Acorah said the singer wished he had been laid to rest by his icon Marilyn Monroe.

He claimed Michael Jackson was speaking through him and said: 'I wished to lie alongside her. I suppose it's of no consequence.'

He then told fans around the table that Jackson felt it was 'paramount' to receive their love.

Later, the medium, who has previously attempted to contact figures such as Guy Fawkes, said Jackson was spending time with his grandparents.

He said: 'I'm only now starting to adjust to my spiritual life'.

One fan on the Sky1 show said: 'I looked into Derek's eyes and it was him.'

A Twitter seance on Hallowe'en also claimed to have contacted Jackson, who died aged 50 in June.

Psychic Jayne Wallace claimed Jackson was singing Heal the World when he was contacted and that he was sorry he had let down fans by not carrying out his This Is It tour.

Pictures of Neverland released shortly after the singer's death were said to feature a ghostly figure which some fans claimed was the star himself.

Jackson had a statue of Monroe, who died in 1962, in his home and was said to have been fascinated by celebrity tragedy.

Sonny With A Chance
star Sterling Knight chatted with BOP! about being rejected by a pretty girl at school: 'When I was in middle school, there was a girl that was the most gorgeous person I'd laid eyes on. I told her, 'I'm going to be an actor. I'm going to move to Hollywood. You don't know it, but I'm going to be so cool.' She still would not give me the time of day.

I'm sure it was because I was telling her how rich and famous I was going to be, which probably sounded completely ridiculous. Since then, I have been working and I really appreciate it. Since learning about my success, the girl I used to crush on found me on a social networking site. She tried to be all nice.
She was just saying, 'Oh what's going on? That's so awesome!' I have two pieces of advice: Girls, those nerds and dorks are going to be the guys you're going to go for in five or six years. Don't be mean to them. Also, if you get rejected, let it bounce off you. There are too many other things in life to focus on.

If Solange Knowles isn't sampling Boards of Canada or getting Jay-Z and Beyoncé into Grizzly Bear, she's jamming out to Dirty Projectors. She's been bumping DP so much, in fact, that she decided to go ahead and cover the Brooklyn band's Bitte Orca standout "Stillness Is the Move", which always sounded like a monster R&B track in disguise anyway.

This cover is rooted in "Bumpy's Lament" by Soul Mann & the Brothers, which was sampled by Dr. Dre on "XXplosive" and Erykah Badu on "Bag Lady".

There's currently no official release planned for the cover-- Solange just really liked the song. Listen and download after the jump:

Listen to the cover at the source because I don't think there's a way to embed it:

Here's the amazing original version:

What do you think of the cover? I like Solange (or at least I like reading her tweets) and I fucking love Dirty Projectors. I saw them on Halloween & now they are pretty much my favorite new band I've listened to this year. Their album 'Bitte Orca' is fantastic.

Outtakes from Mischa Bartons’s shoot for ASOS from earlier this year have been uploaded. ASOS remains one of the lead retailers for Mischa’s handbag collection.

How about her, Lindsay and Brittany making a movie together...a good movie, because what all of them need is an effin reboot of their careers...and their lives.

Guests include Johnny Vegas and Allison Moyet. David unveils a new clip from Waters of Mars and talks about "Rex Is Not Your Lawyer." Hilarious episode. I think I definitely prefer David as himself than as The Doctor, if that makes sense.

this picture is totally irrelevant but...c'mon.

THE NEXT Doctor Who special, The Waters of Mars, airs on BBC1 this Sunday as we head towards David Tennant's dramatic regeneration into the 11th Time Lord, Matt Smith.
That will happen in The End of Time, Tennant's final adventure in the role. It's in two parts, the first on December 25, the second on or around New Year's Day.
But Tennant says shooting his final scenes as the Time Lord weren't as emotional as he'd expected.
Due to his various appearances being filmed out of sequence from their TV transmission, Tennant's last day as the Doctor was actually spent on the set of the spin-off series, The Sarah Jane Adventures, which has already been broadcast.
"The last line I said as the Doctor is half-way through an episode and it's: 'You two, with me, spit spot'.
"They were the last words I uttered in the suit, so I guess it was robbed of any epic quality!" says Tennant, laughing.
"That was probably best because it was very emotional saying cheerio and filming the very, very final scene was very sad.
"If the scene had coincided with the actual final day, I'd have been in trouble. I was in a bit of trouble as it was, but I was all right, I kept a mildly stiff upper lip!"
After the last Doctor Who special, Tennant will next be seen making his US TV debut in a new hour-long comedy pilot. The 38-year-old star has been cast as the title character in NBC's Rex Is Not Your Lawyer.
The project centres on a top Chicago lawyer who starts suffering from panic attacks and eventually coaches his clients to represent themselves in court. The comedic drama will be directed by David Semel, who previously helmed the pilots of Heroes and Life.

Tennant's casting bears similarities to the hiring of Hugh Laurie - another established British TV actor with virtually no American TV experience - as the lead on the Fox medical drama House.

i have a delicate little boy with a smile like a forest, dark and wild.
the dimple in his left cheek only shows when he's grimacing, his eyelashes are stark like twigs. he is most beautiful when sleeping fitfully or pressing his tiny fingers into my clavicle or screaming loud enough to break the sky--

i open my eyes and he is gone.

i have nothing but empty hands and a tv filled with static.
i have nothing but three years of college under my belt and a fervent desire to be anywhere but here.
i have nothing but a boyfriend who kisses my eyelids but doesn't understand.
i have nothing but three antique keys and a broken umbrella.

i have nothing financially prepared for a baby.
i have nothing physically prepared for a baby.
i have nothing but dreams of a smile like a forest and tiny fingers.

i have nothing.
